OPC Toolkit Versions

Graybox OPC Server Toolkit is available in several versions. They differ in the maximum number of tags that can be created in the OPC Server address space.

All versions have entirely compatible API, so you can migrate from one version to another easily.

Our OPC Toolkit Demo is available for free. This version is intended for familiarization purposes. Demo is full functional (including OPC DA3 support) but tag maximum is limited by only 100 tags for Windows and 10 tags for Windows CE.

Licensing

When you purchase any Graybox OPC Server Toolkit you gain the rigth of the development of an unlimited number of OPC Servers using Graybox OPC Server Toolkit. The only Toolkit files available for the redistribution is OPC Toolkit DLL's.

Graybox OPC Server Toolkit V3 Lite

This is the minor version of our OPC Toolkit. This version suits perfectly for lightweight OPC Servers rapid development.

OPC Servers for Windows: 500 tags maximum

OPC Servers for Windows CE: 10 tags maximum

Graybox OPC Server Toolkit V3 Extended

This version is intended for the development of a large OPC Data Access Servers. Starting from OPC Servers for process control devices and finishing with OPC related components of a large-scale SCADA systems. The number of tags that can be created in the OPC Server is limited by available system resources only.
